I Hate Dogs
Just as I was about to fall asleep, I was brought to my feet by the sound of dogs barking. After the barking failed to subside for 30 seconds, I went to the window to see the commotion. I was startled to see a pack of four dogs engaging in what appeared to be canine to canine combat. The dogs didn't appear to be domesticated. Couple this with their display of animosity (no pun intended), I was concerned for the safety of any pedestrians in the area, so I called security. As I was on the phone, the pack broke up and meandered across the street. There, they silently pranced around for a few minutes. Unfortunately, they found their way back to our yard. They started to fight again, but this time I noticed the limp black body of the animal over which they were fighting. It was at about this time that I noticed the smell. It quickly grew into the strong odor of a skunk.
The dogs disappeared down the road again. A few minutes later, security shows up, looking for the dead skunk. Apparently the dogs have been parading it all over this side of University Circle. Not much I can do except close the windows and hope the spray didn't get in direct contact with any part of the house. At least I know that my cats will never kill a skunk.

I agree. Dogs are a nuisance in most respects. And irresponsible dog owners are a nuisance in all respects.
