Graphical Course Reviews Update
I made some minor modifications to the graphical course reviews last night. I updated the individual course pages so the graphs have proper labels and they look more aesthetically pleasing. I also added a graph on the front page which lists the average course rating per department from all 14600+ course evaluations in the database. VERY interesting results. Before I expand on the graphing part, I think I am going to develop a method to retrieve XML for the data. That way, anybody can create graphs and do their own analysis. Perhaps somebody official could then start storing the data in a database, instead of in one large flat-text file, as it is being stored now (it has been that way for 11 years!!!).
