Give Karl Rove a Break
With the possibility surfacing that Karl Rove has done something illegal, every person and organization with a liberal agenda has jumped on the bandwagon to crucify Karl Rove. If I were jealous that my political party didn't have someone with as much talent as Karl Rove, I would probably go along with them. Rove was a significant reason for Bush's reelection. Gee, I wonder why John Kerry himself is calling for his resignation. If everyone resigned when John Kerry or Hillary Clinton called for it, I think Washington would be an empty city.
Give Rove a break-- at least until the investigation is finished. When the results are in, someone will act on them. No need to gripe and moan about every move the White House makes. Work with the White House, not against them. If you want me to ever align with your party on any level, establish a party platform and stop crying like babies at every opportunity.

bush promised to fire the leak. rove's admitted he's the leak.
what's the next part again?
I guess Karl didn't tell Dub what he did until after George made his promise. I don't understand what the leak has at all to do with Mr. Rove's job, and so I see no need for him to resign (un)voluntarily. It was pretty unethical what he did though. The petty excuses are way too weak for me to stomach..... "He only mentioned that it was his wife" is my least favorite spin.
