It's That Time of Year

Posted at August 11, 2005 07:55 AM in misc .

Fall move-in and commencement in May are the two times of year when the "deep pockets" (formerly known to you and me as "the parents") are on campus. This means one notable change: new plants and landscaping for the entire campus!

The question I'm sure is on everyone's minds this fall is, "will the university have enough personnel to complete these cosmetic requirements AND finish the Village at E. 115th?" Time will tell. In the meantime, if you are bored, I suggest you take a cooler full of beer and a lawn chair and find a nice shady area near the construction zone and watch the circus. Make sure to keep your distance, because if you are spotted, you will probably be asked to help.
