Squirrelmail

I have set up a SquirrelMail installation for Case users at https://opensource.case.edu/squirrelmail/.

Enjoy the highly customizable webmail interface. IMO, it is much better than what we have now. Yay for IMAP standards.

Greg, you are awesome!

Thanks for doing what I couldn't do. Now... let's see this get some legs and get a supported version in the wild.

I'm sure there are a million reasons this is better than Case's webmail, but I just found the one I care about. I can finally change my name and email address on outgoing messages to something other than Case's default. I've always (for whatever reason) sent messages as "Heimbach, Matthew G." instead of "Matthew Heimbach" so I didn't want to send anyone messages from Case's webmail in case they ever wanted to find a message I sent by sorting by name.

Now if I could only figure out how to get the sent messages to go to my Sent Items folder. I'm sure that's somewhere in the options area, I just haven't really looked all that hard.

Thanks! This could possibly make up for giving away the ending to Harry Potter. Possibly.

I saw the setting to place send messages in the sent folder somewhere. I can't remember if it was a server-side config or client-side...
