AJAX Webmail Client
Somebody informed me about RoundCube a few weeks ago, but I never got around to posting about it. Anyway, it is AJAX webmail. It rocks.
Go for a spin at http://opensource.case.edu/roundcube/. It is a little rough around the edges, but it works. Enjoy.

Very nice.
hmmm....I'lll just assume most of my issues are covered by the "rough around the edges" part. But the speed was nasty--it is on a slow machine, or is my 8400+ message INBOX giving it a belly-ache?
If your INBOX is huge, it definitely slows down a bit. The good news is it does cache some things to speed up everything after first page load. However, the product still is in early development. Oh, and my computer has been recompiling all evening.
That was delicious, until I got depressed thinking about how there's probably no reason Case can't use this for mail.case.edu, yet we'll never see it happen...
