Looks like somebody has been sending spam through the Case mail servers and now the whole campus suffers:

Good old spamcop...

I've been meaning to post about how spamcop is not a terribly good solution for stopping spam - we've been listed on it many, many times by well-meaning Case users, but there hasn't been a ton of time for that...

Does the terrible solution part involve Spamcop punishing all the users of an often unaware ISP for the actions of a few of its members? It is one thing if you are shutting down an open relay that is sending spam, it is another if people are abusing powers. Although I hate spam, it seems logical that the place to contain it is at the destination side, not the sending side.
