Why Aren't Case Students Allowed to Know

Posted at March 22, 2006 01:35 PM in campus politics .

Is it just me, or is there a lot of information out there that can only be viewed by staff and faculty?

For example:

I can see why some information is limited to people affiliated with Case, but why limit student viewership? I want to see what is in these documents so I can analyze them and gain knowledge in the process. How am I supposed to learn if I am prevented from obtaining information? Perhaps students won't have access to this information until we pay $50,000/year to attend Case.

Yeah, I agree. What's the point? It seems like it would foster more resentment between administration and students than it would benefit actually anyone. You would think of all people that Case's paying customers would be allowed to see how the university operates.
