Beagle: Desktop Search for Linux

Posted at May 4, 2006 02:58 PM in Linux .

Spotlight changed how Mac users find files. If you run Linux, you too can enjoy desktop searching with Beagle. It indexes your documents, PDF's, IM chats, e-mail, web history, e-mails, multimedia files, applications, and more. If you run Linux, I highly recommend you install it. If you run KDE, you will love Kerry, a Beagle front-end.
