An Entertaining Week
It has been an entertaining week at Tellme. On Tuesday, there was an entire company BBQ/meeting in the complex courtyard. The CEO and senior employees outlined the basic plan for the company in the next few quarters as well as answered questions from employees about numerous topics. Later that day, I took a break with a few regular employees to play XBox 360 in the game room. After work, there was a large gathering in a pub in downtown Mountain View. Today, the interns took another mini-vacation to tour Tellme's first off-site data center. Afterwards, we were treated to a free lunch, courtesy of the company "mandate" to treat an intern to lunch. We got back to the complex in time for the start of the Ben and Jerry's summer solstice celebration. Tomorrow, Alison is flying in and I'll be vacationing for 5 days.
Anyway, time to enjoy the rest of the solstice!
