Digg Has Lost Its Luster
The popular news site, digg, has lost its luster. I used to be able to go to digg to find relevant tech stories. Now, most of the stuff that makes it to the front page is just junk. It seems that every blog in the world that mentions Google, Apple, and Web 2.0 gets promoted to digg's front page. They might as well rename the site www.googleapplerumors.com. It doesn't have to be news any more, but merely rumors about what these companies might be doing. I guess if you are interested in the latest Silicon Valley rumors, then digg is the site for you. I, however, prefer my news factual and not speculative. I'll stick to more reputable sources.

I still check digg, but I really like the quality from reddit.com. I'm not a fan of their site looks, but the news quality tends to be better.
I miss those good, old gadget entries and "the world is going to end if we don't ."
