Oct 21 Sustainability TEACH IN

Bring Sustainability into Your Classroom! Get involved with the university's sustainability initiative and support the Presidents' Climate Commitment by participating in a campus wide Teach In to celebrate Campus Sustainability Day, Wednesday October 21.

This event, organized by an interdisciplinary group of faculty and the Sustainability Office, invites you to dedicate your class sessions, Wednesday Oct 21 or Thursday Oct 22, to address issues related to sustainability, such as climate change, social justice, advanced energy, emerging economies, "green" technologies, or society's relationship with the environment. Get creative! Use exercises or guest speakers to raise student's awareness about sustainability or their carbon footprint. Let your classes know how sustainability is shaping current topics in your discipline or how your field is involved in finding solutions to climate change or other sustainability issues.

For more information, contact the university's sustainability coordinator, Linda.Robson@case.edu
