Sustainability "FIT": Faculty & Industry Talking
January 22, 2010
12:00 – 2:00 PM (FREE lunch provided RSVP required, see below)
Tri C's Corporate College East (Richmond & Harvard Rds, off 271)
Holly Harlan, Founder, Entrepreneurs for Sustainability
Science faculty from Northeast Ohio colleges and universities specializing in fields of science relevant to the environmental sustainability industry – from biology to geomorphology to environmental studies to chemistry – are invited to have a timely and informative discussion about current products, services, trends and work force needs at environmental sustainability companies.
Our students are already looking for experiences in how to apply sustainability and gain experiences that help them successful members of the green collar work force upon graduation. Those that don’t will unavoidably be expected to understand the basic principles of sustainability and how it impacts their organization’s triple bottom line of people, profits, and environmental impact.
Local business and science leaders with a vested interest in a work force well-versed in environmental sustainability would like to share with you what they see at work every day and discuss what they look for in the talent they hire.
NOTE: There is no cost to attend this invitation-only small group luncheon; we do request, however, that you only RSVP if you are certain you will attend. https://www.noche.org/_modules/form.php?id=20
