Information Technology Services wishes to warn users of a rogue email virus (or possibly phishing scam) that is propagating around campus. In this version, the recipient gets an email from "admin@case.edu" requesting that the user update personal information. The email, which is signed by "Case Security Department," goes on to say that the account will be suspended unless the user complies by going to a website that is DISGUISED to look like a Case website. It is not a valid site.
THIS IS A HOAX EMAIL. PLEASE DELETE IT IMMEDIATELY.
Information Technology Services would never request information in such a manner.
