Matlab R2006b is now available on the Software Center for Windows, Macintosh and Linux. You can find Matlab R2006b in the "Additional Software" section of the Software Center.
MATLAB is a high-level technical computing language and interactive environment for algorithm development, data visualization, data analysis, and numerical computation. Using MATLAB, you can solve technical computing problems faster than with traditional programming languages, such as C, C++, and Fortran.
With its more than 1000 mathematical, statistical, and engineering functions, MATLAB gives you immediate access to high-performance numerical computing. This functionality is extended with interactive graphical capabilities for creating plots, images, surfaces, and volumetric representations.
