Mathematica 7 is now available on the Software Center for all Case students, faculty and staff. Mathematica 7 is a free download and is available for Windows, Macintosh and Linux.
A free ScreenCast is also available for a look at how to start using some of the new features in Mathematica 7. You can access the ScreenCast by clicking on the “Watch the Mathematica 7 ScreenCast” link found on the Mathematica 7 Information Page. The Mathematica 7 Information Page appears when you click on the Mathematica 7 button on the Software Center home page.
Following closely on the dramatic reinvention of Mathematica in 2007, Mathematica 7 continues the momentum of innovation to deliver an array of new capabilities, greatly extending the state of the art in many areas, and bringing a dozen major new application fields into the integrated framework of Mathematica.
