The Case Community responsible for Windows-based computing systems is advised to immediately apply a Windows Update, MS06-055, which addresses a critical vulnerability in Microsofts Vector Markup Language (VML).
This Microsoft update was prepared, tested, and released early (originally scheduled for October 11, 2006) due to the impact of a 0-day exploit that has been running against it.
Systems administrators are advised to test the update against production systems. For more details see:
