Microsoft Office Zero-Day Follows February Updates

This past tuesday, Microsoft released 12 updates, half being critical updates. Case users who are not using automatic updates are reminded to maintain their networked systems at appropriate patch levels.

The irony of the monthly patch cycle is seen in the case is that immediately following the release of 12 updates, a new flaw and exploit was reported by Security Focus affectig Microsoft Word2000/XP. The exploit can be a real problem for those who email documents back and forth.
