An open java vulnerability in Apple's QuickTime was recently fixed by last week's Apple Security Update 2007-004 v.1.1.
Users were advised during the month or so of vulnerability to disable Java in their Firefox and Safari browsers when there was a potential to view videos or other potentially malicious QuickTime content.
Case Mac users are advised to deploy the most recent security updates from Apple.
