On August 18, 2008, Case Western Reserve University notified approximately 1,160 students about a data disclosure of personally identifiable information. If you received the communications via email, be assured that this is a legitimate message.
The communications to the affected students outlined a process to follow for monitoring resources against the risk of identity theft. The steps are pertinent for all the Case community, whether or not they have been impacted by this recent data disclosure.
