[2/14/08 6:00 AM] - The re-indexing itself went fairly smoothly, however it appears that there was one application that became a little confused when the replica went off line (the IM server). A restart of the of the IM server has fixed the problem. We apologize for any inconvenience.
A crash of one of the LDAP replicas has caused it to lose some of its indexing. While it will not affect the the replica's ability to return a response, the loss of its indexes will cause the replica to respond somewhat sluggishly to some queries. We have temporarily pulled the replica from the ldap.case.edu round-robin. We will rebuild the index by reinitializing the replica from the master, and will put it back into the round-robin once we have verified that the initialization has completed successfully.
