Problem: Sympa mail list server shutdown - Mail to mailing list will be delayed Cause: Moving Data To A New Partition Affects: Mail to mailing lists and administrative aliases will be delayed Started: 04/12/2008 12:00 AM Resolved: 04/12/2008 01:00 AM
Notes:
The maintenance has been completed successfully. The actual down time was about 30 minutes. All mail sent to the list server during that time has now been delivered.

Now that we have the new disk partition available we need to move the mailing list archives to the new drive. (the current drive is 97% full)
We need to shut down the processing of new mail to the list server while the data is being moved. No mail will be lost. New messages will be queued up and delivered later when the server is brought back up.
