Problem: firewall sluggish and connection count high Cause: likely Internet issue noted earlier on 4/24/2008 Affects: campus internet use Started: 04/25/2008 04:45 AM Resolved: 04/25/2008 05:38 AM
Notes:
firewalls were both power cycled to clear out any stale connection and reset memory pools.
firewalls are back up and memory and connection counts are both significantly better.
