Problem: ERP Student system down (2nd event) Cause: power problems Affects: all users of the Student Information System (SIS) Started: 06/13/2008 05:39 PM Resolved: 06/13/2008 06:30 PM
Notes:
Database & application servers restarted without significant issues.
Long term, this problem will be addressed by the ongoing Data Center Remediation construction project (new air conditioning and electrical infrastructure in Crawford and Kelvin Smith Library data centers). Short term, we need to investigate re-wiring the affected equipment within the limitations of the existing power infrastructure in Crawford.
