Problem: Hardware Maintenance on DB7 Cause: Catastrophic Memory Errors Affects: Several Production Databases for Non-PeopleSoft Applications Started: 07/17/2009 02:30 AM Resolved: 07/17/2009 06:00 AM
Notes:
Planned Maintenance is scheduled Friday 7/17 from 2:30am - 6:00 am. Sun MicroSystems Engineer will be on-site to run diagnostics and replace faulty hardware that caused the DB7 outage on Wednesday July 15. This needs to be fixed as soon as possible to avoid another unplanned outage.
During this maintenance all databases on DB7 will be down. This will affect 40 Oracle databases including Blackboard, Advanced Contributions, All APEX Systems, APPWORX, Aurora, Degree Audit, Dental School, KSL, Sympa Mail Group List, ISIS, ONBASE, ONCORE, Pinnacle, Portal, MyCaseP, ONBASE, ONCORE, PROSAM, TeamTrack, T2Park, Serena.
Correction on the Date - Friday 7/17
UPDATE: The Maintenance Work was completed successfully and all databases were back on line at 6:14 am
