Engineers have discovered the cause of the problem to be one of two voicemail system was not able to access the message store correctly. Therefore, voicemail messages were not save into individual users' mailbox.
Engineers have isolated the problem server. Voicemail service restored.
We have received reports of and observed one of the new Voicemail/Unified Messaging servers having trouble reaching its local message store (where it keeps copies of voicemail messages for retrieval). When this happens, voicemails are not stored so the telephone user interface (TUI) can retrieve them. The email copy of the voicemail is always delivered successfully, so it is not completely lost.
We have a workaround in place while we investigate the cause. All voicemail messages are currently being delivered successfully to the message store and via email.
