Problem: Oarnet name servers are missing zone data for CWRU.Edu and Case,edu Cause: Multiple issues Affects: Off campus users querying Oarnet nameservers for Case and CWRU domain names Started: 12/11/2009 02:45 PM Resolved: 12/11/2009 06:19 PM
Notes:
One issues has been resolved.
That is the transfer of all cwru.edu zone files.
The records are up to date and queries to Oarnet successfully return the appropriate response.
A second issue is currently being worked on by Engineers.
That issue affects the case.edu domain.
Oarnet is not able to successfully do zone transfers.
Case.edu domain name queries to Oarnet are failing.
All issues have been resolved.
An IDS server was modified to resolve the second problem.
