Notes:
In determining the cause of the intermittent slowdowns the SSO servers have been experiencing, we discovered some problems with the backend authentication web service SSO uses that may be contributing to the slowdowns.
We will be temporarily switching from the web service to direct LDAP authentication on the second server tonight (the first was switched last month), until the problems with the web service are properly addressed.
