T minus about two months...
I will buy my plane ticket tomorrow. I will mail in my visa application early next week. I will finish the semester and start gathering my things, and then after a brief visit to Boston on January 28, I will take off for Cape Town, South Africa to begin my journey.
Here is where I will document my travels and revelations.
