USS George Washington (CVN 73) - Atlantic Ocean

At Homeport:

USS Carl Vinson (CVN 70) - Virginia (overhaul)

So in case of war, the following carriers can be reactivated:

SARATOGA & RANGER are on a "museum hold" and theoretically could be reactivated...but INDEPENDENCE & CONSTELLATION have been stricken from the Navy list, and have been designated to be sunk as reefs. FORRESTAL is a badly rusting hulk in RI, and her status is unknown.

CV66 was the USS America, not the Kennedy. The Kennedy is CV67 and is expected to be decommissioned in 2007. Tom
