Wow, another anti-Iraq protest

Yep, ten of thousands marched Saturday in another anti-Iraq protest at the Capitol. Hanoi Jane made her famous debut in her first anti-war protest in 34 years.

Organisers of United for Peace and Justice, a coalition group sponsoring the protest, said more than 100,000 attended, but capitol police said it was smaller than that.

Smaller rallies were held in San Francicso, Los Angeles, and Sacramento.

Well, nobody in our country considers thousands of people protesting accross the whole USA as worthy of the government's attention. Now in Iarq thousands are marching aginst US occupation. And US continues to ignore them as well. But should a few hundred protesters in some other country - especially that has its own independent foreign policy - speak out against the government, the whole state department and the windbag president begin to look and sound and speak with such concern. Do we even have an ounce of moral stadning?
