US Marine Throws Dead Puppy Off Cliff (viewer discretion)
It looks like the puppy is dead, seeing that it failed to move while the soldier is holding it. The sounds emitted after the marine throws the puppy off the cliff could be fake.
But why do it in the first place? Were they bored? Who knows...it could be only a dead puppy, then maybe they will start throwing dead bodies next and mimic their dying cries.
It's pretty sick.

I've seen the video. The puppy was NOT dead. the brave soldier threw a defenseless living animal to its death and then smirked about it. Winning hearts and minds...

When a puppy or kitten is held by the nape of the neck there is a reflexive response causing the animal to go limp. The puppy is NOT dead.

When you hold a puppy/kitten by the scruff of its' neck, it goes limp. That's why this puppy doesn't seem live to you.
As Danny & L posted - THIS PUPPY IS NOT DEAD! However & unfortunately the soldier isn't either!

this is sick. what is wrong with that guy? someone needs to throw him off a cliff! "Man's best friend" BETRAYED not only by a man, but a United States Marine! Does he do human babys also? Just because he's in Iraq does not give him the right to kill whatever he wants to kill. Even if this guy turns out to be truely mentally ill, I cannot find a way to feel bad for him. I hope he is punished to the full extent of the MILITARY LAW. I say throw him off a cliff and leave him. He killed one of the most helpless and innocent things over there - and then he laughed about it. I'm sorry I wrote so much but I am sooo upset right now because I just saw the video and that puppy did NOT look dead.
I would like to know if anyone knows how to follow a story like this, to see what the outcome is?

This is disturbing, and he should be dealt with in accordance with the UCMJ.
This happened in Iraq, not in Hawaii as I have read in so many articles.
I f you have never served, you have no basis to make assumption on “Why”. When you are taught to "kill" as a part off your job, it is instilled into you day and night, you start to lose emotion, and deadly use of force becomes second nature.
These Marines have probably seen more attrocious acts than you could possibly imagine, remember they are in a war zone and maybe suffering from combat stress.
I do not condone what they did, but I do have an understanding as to why.

HOOAH!!
