Awwww

DEA Agent Who Shot Self In Foot Sues U.S.

I really really don't feel sorry for this guy. There's no such thing as an accidental discharge; the proper term is "negligent discharge". And a ND in a room full of children probably should be career-ending. Paige should be thankful that Cheech and Chong are no longer performing together; I don't remember Sgt. Studenko ever having a ND.

This is my favorite statement: He also notes that he is no longer "permitted or able to give educational motivational speeches and presentations." I doubt that is because of the video. He can no longer do presentations because he shot himself!

That of course is the underlying reason. But if it weren't for the film, it would be easier for Paige to hide the fact that he's a dangerous idiot.

I wonder how he plans on proving that the video and not his stupid action harmed his career? I think his lawsuit would also greatly be harmed if a newspaper or other form of media highlighted the incident before the video circulated, which may have easily occurred. I think he does not have much foot to stand on in this lawsuit.

Yes, he really shot himself in the foot.
