Germaine Greer should stick to feminism

Evidently she's tired of Steve Irwin's "massive insensitivity" to animals, and while not cheering his death like some rude people, she opined that “It’s no surprise that he came to grief.”

Of course, this is the woman who condemned Lord of the Rings for attracting “spaced-out hippies, environmentalists, free-market libertarians, social conservatives, pacifists, new-age theosophists, sexists and racists the world over.” Gee, doesn't that add up to most of humanity?

“I am sick and tired of programs that tell me that the world is full of wicked, nasty, powerful, deadly creatures," she says. You mean, like the evening news?

Germaine Greer,

I have worked for the environment all my life and I could only dream to preserve what he has done. you are a fucking idiot, you prove there is no god when people like Steve die and shit cakes like your self survive. what have you done to deserve the air you breath. I hope you die slut fuck.

Germaine is right. Animals are not mens'creation or possesion. It is also an infantile and stupid reation for people to cry over the death of someone they do not know and that they have never met. Everybody dies anyway, it doesn't matter how and when.

Popo, I'll agree on your second point, for sure. But "animals are not men's creation or possession"? Domestic animals are certainly our creation, particularly those which can't reproduce ferally (most chickens for instance). And my chickens most assuredly ARE my possession. If you doubt that, come over to the States and try to take them...this animal has a barb to throw into you heart too.

As for wild animals, I'll grant your point simply because I don't want to get into theories of property here. But if we're going to posit that animals are our equals, then they are our equals in morality and responsibility...and that stingray should be charged with murder. The real point for those people is not respect for animals, but hatred of humanity: Animals are not equal to people; people are equal to animals.

Its simple. what a classless f----n whore. its people like this that you wish would die in the most painful way. slow and agonizing. f--k are you just the least considerate person, only a few days after such a tragedy, while a family is still in a great deal of grief you write this in a paper. I can't imagine the amount of people after reading this ugly c--t's work wanted to take her and line her up against a wall and blow her away. god i hope she reads that.
