Prices too low? Have a coup!

"Progressives" in their war against Wal-Mart have missed out on an effective technique: infiltrate the military, have it take over the country, and then force Wal-mart to raise its prices by threatening to jail top executives.

It worked in Thailand, anyway.

Well, it's even harder to imagine a "progressive" military coup ("Guns are scary!"), so that's part of the joke. As for the current military, things would have to get extremely much worse for them to do that, but if they did get that bad, a military coup might not be an all bad thing. They at least have more respect for the Constitution than your typical pol does.
