Sentamu kicks secularist butt over Christmas

The Archbishop of York, Dr John Sentamu,is fighting for Christmas (news which I'm sure will annoy my colleague Mano). The picture makes him look like a pit bull, and he is that, in the best sort of way. I just have to wonder why the C of E has to go to Uganda to find anyone with any sort of convictions.

"A group of Pagans in Albemarle County, Va., was recently given permission to advertise their multi-cultural holiday program to public school children – and they have the Rev. Jerry Falwell to thank for it."

Yeah, saw that earlier this AM. The likely outcome is that nobody will be able to advertise anything... thus proving that religious fundamentalists are their own worst enemy. Baptists of the Revolutionary War period got it, because they were double-tithing to support the established churches...just like Neo-pagans today (mostly) get it. Having power is dangerous to the soul.
