Feeding the meters with poison

The mild-mannered British are blowing up parking meters in Thomas Paine's home town.

If they ever catch the culprits, I think the US should offer them political asylum.

Asylum?! In Gitmo, perhaps.
After all, parking meters is the most obvious statement that the government owns the street and everything adjacent to it.
