Ave regina coelorum
This is a piece I wrote for Andrew and Brenda Pongracz (and friends, in this case Heather Gullstrand, viola and Mark George, piano), former choristers at St. James Anglican Catholic. Andy is actually a percussionist, but I make him sing a little. Brenda has all kinds of high notes (I take her up to e''' here). This is a little unusual for me...it's a sort of chamber-ensemble take on the Eton Choirbook style.

Having finally gotten around to downloading this one--I like the Divertimento and the Unus better.
Those high notes sound suspiciously like "I've seen a mouse!"--although I think the recording media had more than a little to do with that.

'sOK; so do I. Rhythm is a little loosey-goosey at the beginning. I wrote her that high because I could, and because she sounds better higher. De gustibus...
