Crow and Zappa
Ivan Osorio compares the Sheryl Crow TP campaign (Halloween in my youth would have been grounds for the death penalty) to Zappa's Joe's Garage.
This is absurd, of course, just like Sheryl Crow’s suggestions for rationing toilet paper or showering only once a week, but with two major differences: Frank Zappa wasn’t pushing a trendy agenda, and he was genuinely funny.
Make that 3: Zappa was obviously doing satire.
No, make that 4: Zappa had talent.
Rosie O'Donnell of all people nailed Crow with five words, "Have you seen my a**?"

Oh man...I know your health has sucked of late, and I hope you're feeling better soon. Actually, the Crow deal reminds me of a childish taunt we used when people would stick out their tongues at us: "Sorry, I use toilet paper."

Thanks. Today was drink the barium soda and smile radioactive for the camera. No security checkpoints for me today, thank you.
Actually, I like the comeback from Patterico and others. If we met her, would we actually want to shake her hand--for sanitary reasons.
