I have a Technorati RSS search feed for Case Western that I pay attention to via my aggregator (Internet Stage III). Well, today, it exploded because ITS has standardized on using Business Objects for reporting. Here's a sampling:

   Prior to standardizing on Business Objects, only one programmer in the registrar's office was able to generate reports on student data that was stored in a technically cumbersome legacy database. This created an information bottleneck that burdened the registrar's office and made timely reporting difficult.
