XML from LDAP over HTTP

Been playing around with DSML Tools suite, a set of Java utilities for handling Directory Services Markup Language (DSML) version 1 data. "Why would anyone want XML results of an LDAP query?" you ask. Well, who wouldn't want a RESTful interface – XML pushed over HTTP – into and out of the directory server? Something like http://ldap.case.edu/jms18 gets you the XML representation of that person. Useful all over the place.
