Addendum: Top 10 IT Services At Case
As an addendum to all of the people writing Top 10 Case IT favorites (1, 2, 3, 4 and hopefully more... c'mon people, chime in!), some notes:
No one's mentioned the Software Center. I am a little surprised. If they got rid of that awful key client crap (i.e. negotiated better with the vendors), I would put it on my list.
lists.case.edu and wiki.case.edu both get honorable mentions on my list. I think they have a lot of potential and, if fulfilled, would be on my list.
If you are going to list your least favorite (or "most hated" as most people have been putting it) services, can you provide 3 or 4 short statements on why it doesn't live up to its billing? Because, people do read what you say, and pointing out specific flaws (or even general flaws) can end up getting something corrected/enhanced.
You took the words right out of my mouth...the Software Center is my number 1 favorite thing (not that you would know that since I haven't actually posted my top 10 yet).
