Satire?
Does Enterprise Development Have to Be Painful?
that gives me a lot of confidence that things will make a lot of sense in context from here… Writing software this way may be much easier than I thought.
I can't decide if chromatic is being serious or if the satire is just embedded really deeply.
I left the enterprisey world in 2000. It was a mess. Though installing and configuring this software was difficult in comparison to, for example, installing Apache httpd on Ubuntu GNU/Linux, it wasn't as bad as I thought it might be.
I really did expect things to be much worse, and the development studio's not bad at all, once you know where to find things.
