In Heaven, There Is No Beer

As far as beer goes, I'm a snob. Not an obnoxious snob, but if I'm spending $3+ on a beer, I plan on enjoying it. Don't get me wrong, High Life and Bud Light will always have a place in my heart. I just *gasp* like the taste of good beer. So, if I find a beer that I like, I'll post it on my blog.
Last night, I went to the Winking Lizard with my friends Dave and Franz. I came prepared with a list of beers that I wanted to try, as I normally do. And I was not disappointed. For your reference, my current favorite beer is Samuel Smith's Oatmeal Stout, and I positively hate all beers produced by The Great Lakes Brewing Company, especially Burning River. I tend towards either stouts and porters, or if I'm thirsty, a decent pilsener-style lager.
