Dean Turnover
Has anyone else noticed the Dean turnover?
- New Law School Dean, May 2006
- Dean of Arts & Sciences Steps Down, June, 2006
- New Dean of Undergraduate Studies, June 2006
- Dean of Engineering Steps Down, July 2006
- School of Management Dean Steps Down, July 2006
I guess this is just what happens when a President resigns and the budget is slashed?
Oh, yeah. People are noticing. People are talking around the watercooler. The real question, given that the layoffs were in central (realm of the president), Weatherhead (Roomkin), Engineering (Savinell) and the Med School, is can the dean of the Med School be far behind?
I would think this would be expected with a change in administration. If any of these deans were considering stepping down in the the next few years anyways, why not do it now.
