Introduction to Blog
Hello, and welcome to my little corner of Case-space. I hope to use this blog to help retain what is valuable in what I learn. We'll see how it goes.
I took some time to consider whether I wanted to affiliate a blog with Case, because of the increased scrutiny and availability of this blog to the community. In the end, I decided to do so. Perhaps another site would allow for more privacy, but it would also be less grounded in reality. It's pretty neat (or sad?!) that this "Internet" communication will be read and commented on by people who are in all probability within a few miles of me. However, common sense also dictates a little self-censorship as the price of blogging through Case. You will have to talk to me in person for a more complete take on some issues.
Anyway, I welcome discussion and comments, although I warn you in advance that this blog is unlikely to be that exciting. One of the main reasons for this blog is to improve my knowledge of business, mathematics, and decision-making, all three which have cured many an insomniac! For the record, "kaizen" means continuous improvement in Japanese (or at least that's what the business textbooks say it means).
