Writing Workshop
On September 27th we had a writing workshop that ended up being pretty useful. We had a person from the writing center talk to us about different things including different styles of writing, common mistakes among other things. I have never been a good writer when it comes to grammar and so I am always very open to getting all the extra help I can get. In that sense I enjoyed having the presentation that day. I also liked that she brought in an example of bad writing that she had encountered and she asked us to fix it. This assignment was good because I could find some of my most common mistakes in this persons essay. It is always easier to find it in someone else's paper and maybe by working on other peoples papers I might be able to get better at revising my own.
