Management???
When I tell people I am studying management at Case, they always ask me why I want to be a manager. It seems I can never come up with a good answer right there on the spot. However, the more I think about it, I am studying management because I am fascinated with how a business runs and moreover how a successful business is run (strategies, skills, ethics, etc.). By studying management, I think I will get a good grasp on the concepts of running a business (i.e. sales, marketing, managing, finance, etc.). Furthermore, I am not exactly sure which aspect of business I would like to specialize in and by studying management I will have the opportunity to learn about all the aspects and be able to discover which aspect I have the most potential in. So far I am excited about taking MGNT 250, I think it will not only prepare me for the business world, but get me there and assist me in discovering what I really want to pursue.
