HR Simulation
The first meeting with my group for the HR Simulation was incredibly frustrating. The people in my group weren’t frustrating, but the lack of direction about the assignment was. We all felt that it was very ambiguous, and could not decide where the appropriate place to start was. I know that Martine and I both have problems when things aren’t explicitly explained to us and we find it hard to just jump right in, as do all of the members of our group. I think for the next class the instructors might want to clarify better how to get the simulation started, or what the best starting point might be.

When I was reading through the blogs, Amanda's stuck out in my mind. The main reason is because I completely understand the frustration that she felt with the HR Simulation. My group also didn't know where to start when we first met to discuss the assignment. I felt like my head was just running around in circles and couldn't find somewhere to start. Also, our group didn't really have any other choice to just jump in and figure it out as we went along. Because we just jumped in, we had to almost completely redo our budget plan like three times because we kept changing our opinion on what the assignment was asking. I am really hopeful that by the time the next incident is due, we all have an understanding of the project and we will have better direction by looking at what we did right and wrong on the last one. I guess we will just have to wait and find out!
