SOURCE Application

Although this blog will mainly focus on my history research I also have some electrochemistry research worth discussing. Last semester, I decorated (coated) a diamond electrode with platinum ions in order to increase the reduction potential of the electrode in hydrogen peroxide. This semester I'll have to do the same thing over and over again to establish reproducibility in my results. Needless to say, this semester's Chem 397 won't be the most exciting ever.

But this summer, I'm hoping to do some enzymatic sensing with the electrodes. In order to stay, I could use some SOURCE funding! I really have no idea what I'm doing, but they have a proposal writing guide on the website, so I'm going by that. If anyone has any additional tips about this funding, let me know! My knowledge of enzymes is also lacking, so I need to find some good sources of information on that.

Have you tried contacting your sources at the Naperville Development Partnership. I think the people you already know there have some contacts that work for a really big hospital in Naperville. If it's funding you're looking for then maybe this is something that can help.

A potential way of earning some extra money would be to charge some people for a post. As you review submitted posts that are not relevant they are probably from internet marketers looking for quality back links to their site(s). If you email these people suggest a fee for the link. You could then create a new blog page and just put the site hyperlinks on that page. The hyperlink on a .edu site is all they are after.
